The Gulf Coast Workforce Board is committed to helping adults attain the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in local, high-demand jobs. We offer Education and Training services through the Gulf Coast Consortium that is comprised of 15 regional organizations that work together to meet the needs of gulf coast workforce. Our Adult Education Consortium is comprised of Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans, Adult Education Center of Pearland, The Alliance for Multicultural Services, BakerRipley, Brazosport College, Boys & Girls Club of Walker County, Chinese Community Center, Community Family Center, College of the Mainland, Houston Community College, Harris County Department of Education, Lone Star College, Region 6, San Jacinto College and Wharton County Junior College. Gulf Coast Workforce trainings provides participants an opportunity to gain the skills needed to succeed in the Workforce Training program by attaining a Recognized Postsecondary Credential, entering or advancing in employment, or advancing in postsecondary education and training.
